Our Vintage Styling Evenings are full of tips and tutorials for vintage hair, makeup and fashion looks that you can achieve at home with just a little practice.

We also leave enough time for some shopping in the boutique and offer special discounts on the night as well as giveaways and of course plenty of cava in our vintage tea cups!

We’re very excited to be joined by Karen Barr of ‘Beswitchedon’
Karen decribes herself as   a ‘Professional
Fairy Godmother’ and teaches a practical and fun approach to help you attract
love.

However, as we know you’re not all single, Karen will be
concentrating on a ‘Flirting’ class. A skill that that can be used in all
aspects of life whether you’re married or searching for your Don Draper (other stereotypical
50’s male icons are available)

We’ll also be basing our styling tutorial on a ‘make him
look twice’ look, perfect for date night! This will be demonstrated by Ariana
and Layla, our resident aficionados in retro styling.

We’ll finish the evening off with an exclusive burlesque
performance by the beautiful Miss Leyla Rose. Swoon!

As well as all this of course there will be time for
shopping with a 10% discount on the night, fizz in teacups and some sweet
nibbles to keep us going.

I’ll be on hand to do corset fits and Ariana, Layla and
Natasha are open to vintage hair and makeup questions.

It’s that time of year again folks. I’m sorry to mention the ‘C’ word in November but this has to be shared …only 4 weeks to go! (to our party, not Christmas!)

We love our vintage styling nights and our Christmas one is always a bit special. Last year Leyla Rose was our evening muse and this year it will be the beautiful Missy Malone! She hasn’t performed in our *very* intimate boutique setting since Christmas 2010 so we’re over the moon that she’s coming back.

As well as a special performance from Missy we’ll be doing a Christmas styling special. We’ll show you how to create those perfect vintage glamour looks, just in time for your Christmas parties. Starting from the very basics of vintage style underwear and stockings, to dresses and outer wear and finally the essential hair and makeup looks to finish it all off.

We’ll concentrate on 2 main party looks, a classic 40′s look and a classic 50′s one aswell as the perfect retro Christmas day look. You’ll be able to ask the girls any questions and pick up tips to help you achieve the looks yourselves at home.

I’ll be on hand to do corset fittings and there will be exclusive 10% discount across the boutique and hair parlour bookings plus prizes on the night too.

Come sip Christmas cocktails in teacups and nibble festive treats with us at this special party night.

Our Autumn styling night will take place on Thursday the 27th
of September at 7pm.

Miss Dixiebelle stylist Vanity Thrills will show you some hair demos on willing volunteers, our makeup artist will
talk you through a makeup tutorial and we’ll have the usual giveaways,
discounts in the boutique, fizz in tea cups and sweet treats to see you though this
evening of vintage Autumn styling.

Here’s how it will work:

Present your card whenever you’re making a purchase at the
till (boutique only, not on parlour appointments) and start collecting points.
For every pound you spend you’ll get a point. Once your card reaches 200 points
they will convert to £5.00 credit on your card to spend in the boutique!

You can also add credit to your card whenever you like, so
for example if you’re saving for a Christmas party dress you can add £10.00 or
however much you want and save that way. If you’re lucky enough to have very
generous people in your life they can also add credit to your card by coming in
with your name and postcode or first line of your address.

As well as point
collecting we’ll have exclusive card holder events and offers through the year.

We’re offering the
card exclusively to our facebook fans to start with. It will be limited to
people who are able to physically visit the shop as you won’t be able to use it
on the web site. To get your card either pop into or the shop or you can send
the following details to info@missdixiebelle.co.uk under the header ‘dixie
dollar card’:

Full name, postal address, month of birth (for potential
birthday offers!) email and telephone number.

We’ll process the cards over the next couple of weeks and
email you when your card is ready to be picked up.
